Germany has always been the land of geniuses; pianists are not an exception. From time to time, great pianists were born in Germany, and took the art of playing piano to a new level. Among all of them, the most notable name is obviously Ludwig van Beethoven- the most renowned composer and pianist of all time. There were many other renowned pianists, like Eugene d'Albert, Fanny Mendelssohn, Johannes Brahms, Conrad Ansorge, Christian Zacharias etc. All of them were grandmasters of piano.
